Pros

Tremblay’s writing pulls you in and has you entranced. The twist at the end is phenomenal.

The story is told from the perspective of merry, the younger sister of the 'possessed' girl. Marjorie is the older sister that is either mentally unwell or possessed.

The novel presses the importance of real community. Its as sooo much more than that. There’s a lot of fascinating insight to be had.

A head full of ghosts is the exorcist meets ghost adventures. A modern, thoughtful and just-as-frightening update to an iconic horror movie staple.

The story is filtered through the eyes of an eight-year-old. Father wanderly wants to do an exorcism to solve all of his family's problems. The book has the reader questioning whether this was a demonic possession or just a family falling apart.
