Pros
Mike is one of my favorite unintentional gurus. Mike's gentle approach to teaching his daughter what he has learned through his own life is full of love and tenderness.
All of mike dooley's books are in good company on my bookshelf. Dooley is cosmic, heart warming and touches the soul.
A delicious poo-pourri of inspiration. It literally is a guidebook to life styled as a love letter to the author's daughter. It seems a form of poetry in the way it is put together.
Cons
It is definitely not “a volume of elegant, brief lessons’ or “guiding the reader thoughtfully and joyfully’. Each chapter is only about 5 to 6 pages long and the rest is filled with incoherent quotes.

It can either be read straight through or my preference now is to flip open a page and get inspired by the first thought provoking quote i lay my eyes on and meditate on it
