The conversational tone involves a lot of analogies and metaphors. Great throw-back illustrations remind me of old magazines from the 70's. This is a book i would gladly share with anyone.

Survival gadgetry and gear is a huge industry. Lundin's guide helps a budget-weary amateur outdoorsman know where it's worth spending a little extra. Great beginners guide to prepping and basic survival skills.

Cody lundin is a very bottom-line guy. He tells everyone not to have a pack that weighs more than 30ibs and his pack weighs less than 5ibs. His greatness is one of the reasons why i gave such a low rating.

This book is a finicky creature. The first thing you see is the publisher's terrible dtp. Other information is very incomplete such as on fire making or purifying water.
