Pros
I love the fact that it has both an on/off switch as well as an intensity dial. Update (apr. Will revise again as needed when this is concluded.

Cons
Feels fairly flimsy, but that was to be expected for a non-lab stir plate. Stirs ok, but lasts about 2 weeks.
Works fine, but when i unplugged the cord, one of the prongs got stuck in the socket. No power to the unit at all. Stopped working the second time after one week with the power light flashing.

The only issue is the speed range is not really accurate so if you need an exact speed these may not be the plates for you
