The magnets are very weak and oneended so my toddler gets frustrated as she expects them to magnetize and it’s the wrong end of the block — unlike others that have magnetic ends on all block edges so that any two edges will stick

I purchased this set as well as the 8 piece set my kids are almost 6 and almost 2 they loved the 8 piece set but did not care at all of this one

My one complaint is that because of the magnets you cannot fit these together any way you want because certain ways will repel from each other
