I purchased this product to insulate PEX hot water piping in my crawl space. The product was easy to work with. I cut the foam with a serated kitchen knife. Sealing the seams when the insulation was applied posed no problem. This isn't rocket science. I used a mitre box to create 90 degree corners and metalic duct tape to seal seams between sections and around elbows. I don't know how well this will insulate the PEX pipe but I did notice that the insulation was not as warm as the naked pipe so I think it was worth the price (not expensive for the quantity of insulation) and effort to apply.  Read Less
