Quality

I’m glad it came with the tool.

Positive Review

Easy to install; blender works great again.

Positive Review

Certainly a flaw with this machine and as expensive as kitchen aid is you would think they would hold up better with better quality parts!

Negative Review

Easy install with the provided wrench, replacing blades were just fine for me.

Neutral Review

My blendor had been used hard for years, lots of heavy grinding, and the old coupler came right off with the included wrench.

Neutral Review

Price

The product has the expected quality, the price is quite attractive

Positive Review

And it cost less than half the price to repair it.

Neutral Review

Competitiveness

The kitchenaide blender i've had for over 10-15 years needed a new coupler.

Positive Review

Bought to replace a couple that litterally disintegrate d from lack of use.

I had it repaired at a shop once and it cost as much as what i originally paid for the machine.

I was about ready to throw it away, but thought to myself, how hard can it be to fix.

The rubber will just melt away, and i don’t understand why kitchenaid decided to make this part out of rubber.

One thing you must know when removing the coupler is that you have to turn it clockwise.

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I kept turning it counterclockwise and it seemed to get tighter and wouldn’t come off, and then when i turned it clockwise it loosened up and i just kept turning and turning until it came off.

Then when it came time to screw on the new coupler, i kept screwing it on and turning it to the right thinking it would just screw on easily.

I tried this many times and then i realized you have to screw if on counterclockwise( turning it to the left).
