I realize now that i got 12 pack boxes and not 6 pack boxes.

He doesn't drink coffee or other caffeinated beverages so it wasn't like if i had to give up my morning coffee; it was that caffeine was the only way he could deal with the headaches, and when he had to stop using it, the headaches lasted longer and were more intense, until they finally started tapering off.
