I’ve ordered two of these. The first arrived in perfect condition, and does a great job holding my laptop, docking station, display monitor, keyboard, etc. minor hitch; the eight corners of the top surface are sharp enough to cut through clothing and skin. However, I used some sandpaper, and about three seconds of sanding on each corner was enough to fix the problem.I ordered a second desk for my wife. The box contained ... a second box, which looked like it had been opened and re-sealed with tape. The protective styrofoam padding material had been shredded. The top of the desk had been literally ripped from the frame; the wood was splintered. Within an hour I’d returned the desk for a refund. I gather from reviews that others have had similar experiences.However, given my success with the first one, I’ve ordered another. With the third desk, the styrofoam packaging and desk were completely intact. I'd forgotten about the sharp corners and got a nice scratch along my hand, but a few seconds with a piece of sandpaper fixed that.So barring the returned item, I'm very happy with these portable desks.
