Pros

One of my cats prefers this curved design. This one is not quite as curved. It is very durable. It's a thick cardboard so it will need to be replaced over time.

Em'rycat has a plastic holder, slot for a toy wand, or free catnip. The cardboard is strong and tightly packed, so cat * doesn't fall through it when you sprinkle it on. This saves our furniture!

My cat uses this often. And the price is mid-range which i appreciate! Will buy from now on.

Cons

Cat loves it -- but broke out in sores after eating the white cardboard that holds the scratch pad together. I rubbed catnip on it, my cat ignores it.

This scratching pad has barely any arch. Would not recommend. Do not waste your money on this item. Beware with this particular scratching pad.

These cost more but seem worth it

Surprised i would leave a nice review on the most expensive cardboard i ever bought lol

Packaging/appearance

I opened the box and laid the scratcher pad down and the cat was on it immediately

Package of two came in a bashed up box but the individual scratchers are fine no thanks to packaging

Competitiveness

We bought this to replace murrays emery cat

I’ve tried other brands since then but they are comparatively narrow and skimpy
