The adaptor and the vacuum both have red indicator leds that light up when power is received whether the unit is on or off

The vortex is created in the collection chamber and it rotated the dirt so that the suction path is clear

It works until you have about 5 pounds of dirt and you fill the entire compartment but empty it and you get the suction back

This vacuum is not nearly as powerful to begin with as my old floor unit so the addition of the hepa filter will slow down the suction to fairly weak

The one down side is getting the filter back into the unit is a pain it doesnt have any marking so i just pulled it out and then kept having to turn it to get it seated right

Without the brush the vacuum struggled to get small stuff off of the floor
