I am so weird about my bedding - I want it to be soft and cuddly, but not too warm and I want it to look good - with the stuff you find at stores it would seem that really is hard to come by most days! I received this set of standard pillow cases in exchange for my honest opinion.Exceptional Sheets really does know how to make beautiful and quality bedding. These pillowcases are super soft, yet I didn't have that hot sweaty feeling that I get with other pillowcases. The plum color is gorgeous and looks great with my grey comforter - just a lovely contrast of colors that compliment one another well.I did wash and dry these pillowcases three times to see how they would hold up and each time they emerged from the dryer looking great and feeling wonderfully soft. Even with three back-to-back washes, I did not notice any wear or tear on them at all. I am happily and comfortably sleeping with these pillowcases each night now - they fit my standard pillows perfectly. I like how lightweight they are so they would be perfect in the summer or for someone who may run hot themselves (I would've loved having these around when I was pregnant!).  Read Less
