Pros

Led t8 replacement tubes are excellent. Now my office lights turn on instantly and are much brighter than with the standard t8 florescent tubes i used to have. Plug and play lighting with instant start.

Double ended wiring makes conversion simple, no need to replace shunted tombstones. No need to rewire to bypass ballast.

Double-sided (or two-sided) are safer/easier because you run hot to one end (doesn't matter which), and neutral to the other end of the fixture. On a dual t8 fixture running 277v with ballast bypassed, 1 bulb is comparable to 2 fluorescent ones.

Cons

The daylight t8 fluorescent tubes its supposed to replace, are a lot brighter (and whiter) than what these led tubes would give you. There is also a thick white plastic piece on the ends that goes down the back of the bulb.
