It was my understanding that if i had multiple devices hooked up to this device that it would automatically switch to whichever device was on.

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

It doesn't appear to do that, and i have to manually press the button to switch it from one device to another.

That said, i'm not shocked or surprised that this feature doesn't work.

Getting up and manually pressing the button isn't that big of a deal, and the device otherwise does what is is supposed to do.

As long as i have the equipment on that i'm using and turn the others off, it recognizes the device immediately and i never have to switch anything.

Sometimes it will switch automatically, but other times you have to push the button.

I think it depends on which way it is going (like it will automatically switch to the first position but not to the 2nd and 3rd).
