Home depot does not carry the 3-way pvc fitting so i searched amazon and there they were!
Competitiveness
We purchased a coolaroo replacement dog bed cover and used 1 schedule 40 pvc and these elbow fittings and some end caps to make a frame.
No reason they couldn't be used for plumbing, but, these 3-way, and 4-way tees are essential for structures.

It looked like pvc but was very thin walled plastic tubing with similarly thin plastic fittings, a disaster.

They could be glued with pvc glue but press-fit (no glue) connections are quite robust for my applications.

When planning out your cuts for the pipe length, do realize that the pipes will only go into the fittings about 1/2 an inch.

A 10' piece of schedule 40 pvc was only a few bucks at hd.
