There are a couple of loose threads sticking out from the braiding and a couple of areas where the braiding is not perfect but this is not obvious and doesnt affect the function of the lead

The good news is that on contacting spartan regarding the failure i received a reply within 24 hours and a brand new cable was delivered within days
