Those are ok if you make sure you know what mode you were in when you turned the light off so you know the next mode that it will be in when you turn it on

Some people like the added choices of the 3mode lights some people hate having to keep clicking the switch five times to get it back to the mode you want

You can get either kind on amazon but some sellers only offer one kind other sellers offer the same lights with different color bodies the problem is that amazon seems to think they are all the same which is why they have all the reviews for all the different models and all the different sellers mixed together here

It also means that you cannot use amazons order it again button to get the same kind you bought before because amazon will randomly direct you to a different seller and a different model because they dont realize there is any difference between these lights

Had a couple 3 mode ultrafire lights but hate that they have to be cycled through all modes serious design failing for 3modes not to reset to default fullbright after short time

Purchased a few of these from various sellers at different times and received a wide range of quality mostly junk

However there is only one oring in the back battery cap the top cap doesnt have one and may not be waterproof

Also the reflector inside is a bit cheap
