Pros
The included catching tools are butterfly nets, tweezers & bug tongs. It lets him collect the bugs, observe through the bug containers and with the included magnifying glass. The only drawback is the lack of durability.
Great hangs up to a toddler. My grandson is 3 years old and has been playing with this daily since i bought it for him. His older brother, 8 also enjoys it.
One of my grandchildren is about to receive this insect-catching kit as a gift. He will be under unhealthy pressure to 'do like grandpa used to do' our little guy enjoys using the magnifying lens that has 4x magnification.

Very cute little toy but i was bummed that some of the pieces were broken upon arrival (see attached pictures).

The container opened fine, but the hard plastic bendable piece was already separated.

In case i forget, will say based on pics it looks very similar to the other bug catcher kit we also got for them with exception of having different tiny items/bugs and hat/binocular where not camouflage colors.

I expect the same complaint we had with that one will be so with this here kit as well, the binoculars in these kits really are more of a prop, they don’t focus well at all.
