With all the glowing reviews, I had high hopes for this hose. Bad move. First, it says 25 feet when expanded. I will be generous and say it's maybe 20' when at full pressure with the business end valve closed. Open that valve and it shrinks immediately to maybe 15'. Even when restricted with a nozzle it's still too short to reach the rear of my Avalanche from the spigot situated at the front left bumper. I tried tugging on it to no avail, it won't budge. I really need a hose to wash my bike at the apartment and this will just not do. My bike is 8' and the hose can't effectively reach the end from the front. Maybe I could water some plants with it if they're not too far from the water source. Only pro is that it keeps pretty good pressure through your nozzle but that's at the expense of length. You'll need that full pressure and a good aim to wet anything that's not right there by the spigot. I will compare it to the 50' hose from Home Depot (Pocket Hose $29. 99). Both have brass ends and a valve on the business end. This hose seems more sturdy in the jacket material than the Pocket hose, but the pocket hose is lighter in weight per foot. This keeps near full pressure while the pocket hose is about 50% when fully open and using a nozzle. I'm sending this back as it's not a 25' hose under any circumstances and a 15' hose when in use. The Pocket hose with double the length will suit my needs. If I need high pressure, I'll ride to the quarter car power washer. The Pocket Hose will wet and rinse just fine, just fill the bucket first. I really am not trusting the reviews on Amazon lately. I've seen too many I got it free for a fair review tacked onto the end of a glowing press release about the product. I wish Amazon had a way to put that qualifier at the outset instead of wasting my time reading an industry funded blurb unaware until the end.
