Quick tip upon placement of your light make sure it gets complete sun during the day and make sure it is not near another light source such a street lamp which will affect its function in as it wont turn itself on when it is light out

It actually was working the way it was supposed to

In addition the mistaken the light doesnt work i thought it didnt work in the dark as it wasnt lighting up

Later i sheepishly remembered there was a lowoffhigh button which i hadnt noticed during assembly
