They are great to have on the car when they actually work compared to when they dont just ask anyone with a v6 version of a honda accord as they take the place of a prop rod when opening the hood of the vehicle

You need a 10 mm socket to loosen and remove four 4 bolts and a small flat blade screwdriver to loosen and then reposition two metal clips

The two tuff supports that came have the same part number 613363 and are not stamped for either left or right

Be aware that the hood cannot be supported by a single strut so use a block of wood to prop the hood up while installing these

Also the struts do not include new screwswashers so save the old ones

Though i installed them the first time with the flat plates that adhere to the hood facing the opposite direction which meant i couldnt close the hood at they were now a few inches lower than they should be

My own fault for not paying attention i flipped both plates around which moved the struts closer to the hood and the hood opened and closed without a problem
