This stainless steel tea infuser screws close securely. The ball is really smooth and i haven't had any issues.

It holds a lot of tea but isn’t ridiculously huge! Holds 2-3 tablespoons easily. Easy to retrieve from bigger cups with lids, and steeps reliably.

You'll need to dunk it a few times to get the flavor to infuse. Currently mine takes some extra seconds to sink after i pour the water in, which i find rather fun since it makes a glub sound when it does. The strainer is designed to meet its purpose.

I just love the lil tray that comes with it. The little tray to set the ball on i truly like. And the saucer is handy.
