The motion detector works great. I like the battery lasts a long time.
I highly recommend these to anyone that has any medical condition. Her family loves them for the rotating light colors and the novelty of a lighted toilet bowl.
It's plenty bright with a soothing light - nit too bright. It has adjustments for low or bright light and you can pick one color if you dont want it to rotate.
I love this bathroom gadget but it doesn't clasp on to the toilet bowl. Good for midnight visits to the bathroom. My hubby gets up several times at night and its hard for him to get back to sleep after the light is turned on.

It’s a neat idea and they work well but have a life span of maybe 6 months to a year each

After the second one refused to work even with new batteries i decided that for the price they were still a decent product that would need to be replaced
