Pros

My system is a 2018 hp laptop with a ryzen3 2200u processor, with a 1tb hdd, and 16gb of ram installed. It is very cheap, but what do you expect for the price. Great for replacing laptopcd with an ssd drive.

Good read/write speeds in my rig. It looks ugly, but it works; and i don't have to go to the hassle of returning. It works, but performance is slower.

Ditching an old dvd drive and replacing it with a ssd is a great example.

Sata connector from this drive works perfectly, and the sata power is an exact match to the only available power on the optiplex sff. Fit perfectly inside a dell xps 8930.

Cons

My main disappointment is the size and not compatible with two different drive fronts. Measure your cd driver height before buy. It's too thick to fit in my laptop.

I think the price was very competitive and still serves the purpose with no real difference from a higher priced caddy

Most of the ones ive seen you screw the drive in through holes in the side
