This is freestanding but if a burglar was to disable it it will be too late the alarm in the house is very loud it has 3 settings so can be turned down

The only unknown is how long the pir batteries will last on standby but other reviews appear favourable

With this i can call the police intervene myself and if the pir which has a small blue light on it when activated is seen it will either encourage the burglars to leave or to destroy the device either way is fine

I got it working at last after fiddling with it for an hour with no oairing success packed it up and ready to return and i thought i gave it a final try got a better instruction from 1 star feedback reply from presumably the then seller called one by one service team

The instruction which came with the unit is very woolly apparently there is a set sequent which you have to follow to get the thing paired
