    And 2 an optional switch to manually reset an alarm so it keeps blasting to make sure you dont sleep thru the one alert it sends before an intruder smashes the transmitter

    This would cost pennies for the latching chip and switch and be an easily implemented option to disable if you dont want to use it because you are not going to sleep or you expect false alarms at a particular transmitter site
