    I have an n551j asus laptop the charger it came with worked for about three years but over time the cord had gotten really wonky and one day it just wouldnt turn on anymore

    The ac laptop maufacturers dont make the power cable from the adapter to the laptop detachable so you have to buy a whole new supply or solder on a new connector —and finding the right connector is not easy

    This is a stupid and annoying situation but quite profitable for those who feel their moral imperative is to move every last dollar from my pocket into theirs

    I put the value for the money at three stars not because this product has anything wrong with it but because its hard to call any replacement a value when i have to buy the whole rig just to replace one where the stupid connector busted
