The cameras are powered through the ethernet cables poe so you do not require power cables to each camera you can mount them virtually anywhere

On the back there is also an rs485 connection to provide power to ptz pan tilt zoom cameras though the cameras included do not support this feature

All settings can be backed up and even copied to other cameras so you dont need to configure each individually

Each camera can have its own setting here is an example of a recording configurationcam 1 record on motion detect saturday and sunday all hours mon fri from 5pm to 7am
