It's hard to know exactly how to rate the 'performance' of something like an in-furnace air filter.

I purchased these filters and was unable to use them because they are actual size, not nominal.

In my situation the slot for the filter is slightly smaller than 22 and although i was able to get them to fit by scrunching them this is not ideal since it compromises their structural integrity.
