The only change i would make for the next installation is if applying to metal siding would be to drill just the siding with a 5/16 bit and then complete the balance of the building drill with a 1/4”bit. The intensity and angle of the sun's rays are n... Read More

They are lightweight & easy to install. The plastic is pretty soft. Now they are free standing vs leaning.

Cons

They are an embarrassment and i don't how they can even sell them. I am not sure if it is the extreme heat from a north alabama home facing west, inferior vinyl or simply too hot for any vinyl. Avoid to spare yourself unnecessary frustration.

Don’t buy these shutters. Very flimsy and cheep looking plastic. These shutters are only three sided.
