Pros

The plates are nice and heavy, which to me is a sign of good quality. There are times when i've banged one of them on the granite countertop pretty hard by accident but they have survived everything. Each piece is well made, sturdy and attractive.

Cute set exactly as pictured. Friends have all complimented the table. The remainder of the set is as good as it was the day i got it.

Cons

Fragile items packaged in poor condition. The seller expects you to return the product for exchange of a whole new set. They say they'll acknowledge your initial outreach, but no one did.

The edges are not straight- some wavy. The center area has excess ceramic / porcelain throughout so it is not a smooth feel. On top of all that the coffee cups were all chipped.

Three cups and seven plates came broken. Plates break from something as simple as placing on the table, in the dish washer or the sink. One plate smashed in shipping.

Each dish has small to large flaws. The handle on the bowl lid is crooked. This is not a dinner plate, it is a rimmed salad plate.

The quality of the nova set is extremely poor in appearance. The biggest stinker after the fact of purchasing 4 sets i found the same sets on the shelf, at my local large retailer that begins with a w, for half the cost. The concept of the set is cute... Read More

If you want very sturdy dishes that are not perfect but still pretty good and come at a reasonable price i would recommend this set

Was packaged nicely and it all arrived intact
