I was having issues with this being recognized in my ql1060n and i thought it was a defective rollroll holder and i bought a 117 roll and experienced the same issue from the same seller

They notified me with this image that you have to remove a small piece of plastic on one side of the holder to make it work

The first few rolls i bought some years back did the job just fine but they didnt include a new reusable cartridge they were just rolls

The betckey brand labels are also more opaque and do a better job blocking underlying lines from showing through
