Pros

Flat plug makes it perfect for kitchen counter top appliances. Flat plug adds 1-2 inches as furniture can be moved right up along the plug. I've also used a few for the appliances on the counter.

Thick gauged wire makes it so you don't have to worry about what you have plugged into it. Allows power strip to fit bulky chargers. Great to use behind furniture such as beds and bookcase.
