Looks like they got a bad batch of adhesive. The adhesive sticks to absolutely nothing. Had to resort to using foil to try and seal the *.

I bought this gasket cleaned the lid according to the directions and the leaking is now gone and my temperatures hold steady

Easy to put on and durable quality product kept smoke in the smoker and not creeping out the gaps

After three uses the gasket is still stuck and cut down on the leaks greatly

After a day with the lids sitting closed the gasket material compressed enough to allow both lids to close up 100

Sadly for the money you spend on a traeger it doesn’t come with a gasket but not a problem

Of course that means your losing heat as well but i had no idea just what game changer adding this inexpensive gasket was
