We went through at least 3 sets of the adhesive felt floor protectors before i finally broke down and ordered these.

They were really easy to install because a previous owner of our dining room set had, i assume, at one point installed the nail-in type of floor protectors.

Dog hair does not accumulate in and around them like it does with the adhesive felt pads, especially after the pads start to slide off an expose the adhesive.

They slide better than the felt so that when my 2-year-old wants to be excused and get down by herself because i'm a big girl the chair just slides backward from the table and doesn't catch so i'm less worried about the chair tipping over.
