Fullstack Developer

We are looking for an experienced Fullstack Developer to partner with our teams to accelerate growth at Fakespot.

What you'll be doing

Architect, design and own new services
Lead the implementation of services and features
Work collaboratively with the engineering team to find solutions to complex problems
Write code across multiple languages and frameworks including Javascript, Typescript, Ruby, Go, Python, React, React Native, Elasticsearch
Deploy applications using Kubernetes
Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers
Monitor and optimize performance of existing services

Desired Experience

3-5+ years experience working with high traffic services and applications (we will consider great candidates with less experience)
Demonstrated capability to completely own buildout of features and services from database design to frontend UI implementation
Ability to design, architect and execute services and features from business requirements
Capability and desire to mentor junior engineers through pair programming, code reviews, architectural discussions, troubleshooting, design documents, and other tools of the trade
Desire to introduce new paradigms and technologies to the existing team
