My grandson assures me that connecting the quest to a pc is infinitely better. Be sure to use a quality charger adapter. This works for both for oculus link and vr.

The usb-c side works for charging it at least. But this one constantly loses connection to the pc with just the regular usb port. The primary purpose of using this as a link cable is useless.
