The top half of the harness is very flimsy as well. The vest is made poorly and does withstand much tension at all.

Metal makes the difference. It has velcro all over and moll attachments for carrying equipment and accessories. The whole thing is very lightweight which is fantastic for the hot summer months. It's made well and sturdy.

Front ring is useless as it pulls the whole harness around. Clasps aren’t tactical. They also loosen. Buckle let go. Over the course of two weeks the upper buckle at the dog's shoulder opened twice.

Which is a real bummer. Not happy. Color is nice but returned because it doesn’t seem durable.
