Each side of the blanket has a connector, a control, and a separate plug to go into the wall. Heats up fast. Several heat settings with timer.

Full-sized blanket is perfect for my 3/4 sized bed. Wires are tin and flex well with blanket. The wires inside the blanket are noticeable, but not uncomfortable.

Slept like a baby, all toasty warm. The sherpa side keeps you warm all by itself. The coldest winter in my area in many years with the highest natural gas prices ever.

Do not purchase the throw blanket. I say better quality control, because, drum roll, the blankets were exactly the same. I am disappointed as i live very far north and enjoyed this blanket while it lasted.

It's lightweight, and perfect for tossing on the back of the couch for later. Even though the thermostat is set at a comfortable temperature, i still get cold and this heated throw does the trick.

The heating wires are noticeable but not obnoxiously so. The heating wiring is centralized on the sides about 24to accommodate being tucked in.

The blanket is soft, heats up nicely, but the quality and durability is not good. Heat only on highest setting, still less than 100 deg f.
