Pros and Cons

Pros5

Bass is powerful without struggling or clipping, sound is crisp without being bright. Subwoofer really vibrates the living room with the base which is nice -- just like the theaters. Upward firing speakers do a fantastic job at projecting sound ubove,...  Read More

This vizio is good! It hits all the points i am hoping for without spending $1,000 or more to impress my friends. That frustration is 1000% worth the end result! This set up is mind blowing!

Disney plus is the only streaming service that has a lot of dolby atmos content. Atmos works most of the time with compatible streaming apps and games.

This is an amazing sounding system that easily punches above its sub $1000 price. A numerical read-out makes it much easier to find and remember your preferable sound levels. The problem with so many reviews i read is there are a lot of audiophiles ou...  Read More

I'm not a huge sound buff but is this worth 5-600? Over all i would say that this sound bar is under priced, it blows everything in its class out of the water.

Lazy company. The ux is absolute garbage. That's not how you treat loyal customers. Vizio customer service is a dumpster fire that clearly is run by an organization that relies on scripts.

At least half the time getting it to work requires unplugging it several times and swapping inputs. Firmware updates do nothing. It constantly freezes and even worse now the lights on the front no longer fade out during use.

The soundbar is so glitchy. It's as if it has no idea how to handle the incoming audio data. Occasionally the soundbar requires a full reboot to function again. I have to turn the vizio bar on and off and reconnect to earc and movie eq to get it to wo...  Read More

Pros4

Nakamichi system comes with 4 surround speakers and two 10 subwoofers. The soundbar gets plenty loud, as does the subwoofer. Bass and subs are louder and stronger!

The explosions and collisions rock my whole house, i literally feel im in the story. The clears up voices that were hard to hear before.

The new remote is probably the best remote control i’ve seen in a surround system. Feels more modern with larger * and brighter and cleaner backlit keys. It took me three days to get the sub and back surround speakers set to my liking.

The responsiveness is much improved as well. The other reviewers were not exaggerating, it's a really good soundbar and i recommend also. There is a firmware update that you need to do to maximize the quality but it's easy to do. It works consistently...  Read More

The sound bar has some issues, some are minor and some are major. Pausing sources and starting them via arc, there is almost a 20 second lag between video resume and audio. If i fast forward or rewind the movie it takes 5 to 10 seconds for the sound t...  Read More

After months with this unit, it is just unsatisfactory. These are not vendor-specific. These numbers are not to be used for marketing gimmicks.

It sounds tinny and muddy at the same time. The bass is the biggest disappointment. After setting everything all up and putting on endgame, the sound is terrible.

Working inside of 30 minutes. No avail. When it works. That’s just my speculation though. This is okay at best.

It’s embarrassing how many times it glitches when i have people over. I have to turn it on multiple times before it finally stays on.
