This is the third economical chess set from amazon that i've tried. Bought for my 11 yr old son. Will be purchasing a second one.

Quality pieces and chessboard. Finish is ever so slightly grainy in some areas but not in a bothersome way.

Consider buying or gifting this product at your own risk. I'm severely dissapointed in this company. It's a shame because we really liked this set. Will be returning.
