The smell of these is extremely strong and offensive. Don't waste your money. Junk, just pure junk. Very disappointed. Better to spent a little more and get damp rid.

The pillow parts are quite cushiony to help fit an infant. The product is machine washable but i haven't tried that yet. Better cushioning and support than the original.

Side padding is too thick and does not leave enough room for our small 5lb baby. Could barely fit baby in car seat from the hospital in our chicco key fit. It is the wrong size for most average newborns.

Was worried about suffocation risk. But shipping is pricey and slow. They say it's a licensed product.
