The secret to keeping these blankets from matting is to make sure they are fully dried. The blanket washes up well and comes out of the dryer just as fluff as it was. The other big plus is that it is machine washable.

The blanket is not 40 x 80 and the fill is not 100% glass beads. The weight bunches up and is not evenly distributed. Perhaps recommended 15 lbs is more than i needed? It is not breathable as stated in the description.
This blanket is so incredibly scratchy. It boggles my mind that people actually use this thing. It was used under normal circumstances only.
