Pros and Cons

Pros4

She is such an incredible writer that she makes everything interesting--even when she is being tiresome or self-centered or idealistic. The overwhelming tragedy of sylvia plath's story is that she never was able the reap the rewards of her singular ar...  Read More

This book is gorgeous, insightful, relatable, and worth the read if you're a literature fanatic or author. This is more than a book about a famous writer with a tragic life. I recommend buying at the publisher's price rather than my usual recommendati...  Read More

After she graduates college and settles down with husband ted hughes, her writing takes on a new kind of rawness and immediacy. Married to ted hughes another of our finest writers, this book lets you hear in sylvias own words what she endured as an ar...  Read More

Cons1

Already i notice the binding is weak. And then what's the point of having a book with notes if it’s broken?

Pros3

I fully recommend this as a book to be left out for the children to leaf through as they will all find something beautiful to draw them into the world of fine art. This is a good resource for her to have moving forward.

Focuses art from the standpoint of the movements that took place instead of individual artists. Very informative and enjoyable for the art lover.

The pictures are colorful and clear and the book is loaded with the bright images. I especially appreciate that dk print is actually legible for someone without 20/20 vision.

Cons1

The kindle version is a disaster. The font size is laughingly small. Avoid the kindle version. Go with the hardcopy format.
