Learning curve is a bit high, but once you get the hang of it, you won't want to play anything else. The rules seem complicated when reading them to a group of people who never played, but a turn or two in everything clicked.

Best game since catan. Now, they are hooked. Good feature for kids who are still struggling with good sportmanship. My kids (teenagers) absolutely love this game.

Great choice. For $11. But, turns out it's better than several higher-priced sets i had seen in stores. If you are looking for cheaper, in store is best but for an easy buy this was great too.

The bottoms aren't flat, so they wobble on board. They need to sand or cut the dimples off the pieces. Error is most obvious since the white king has the small cross on his crown.
