It comes with a detachable shoulder strap. The two handles have a velcro closure to hold them together.
It's about 28 long and some 8 wide, nice and roomy. I have a think 85 inch mat & this bag fits it wonderfully.
If you buy this bag, put some polyurethane or clear nail polish on the stitching where the handles are attached to the bag.
