The construction is solid, movement is smooth, and the numbering is clear and high quality. This one is made entirely out of aluminum and feels very sturdy.

The only con is there is no way to lock it, and it relies on friction to hold the readings. I usually use a angle finder and if obtuse i do the math in my head, it nothing complicated. Markings are easy to read and understand what you are looking at.

This is a must have device. It's reasonably priced and easy to use. Only negative was the snap on the leather case pulled out upon first opening. This thing is fantastic, so glad i purchased it instead of more expensive model.

Numbers and graduations are very dark against a black background and are very hard to see. This is obviously not engraved. Where are the 45deg marks? That to me is dumb.
