It provides 3 levels of brightness that can be dimmed when needed. Nice manual dimmer. However the ambience they projects with the adjustable brightness lighting makes them prefect for the bedroom.

The bulb flashes a blinding white for only a split second when clicked on- and then goes dark. The dimmer is not what i expected at the lowest setting. The shade is cheap and flimsy.

Make sure to follow the directions and soak the jellyfish. The instructions advise ‘soaking’ the jellies in dish soap for a few hours before first use. The jellyfish swim great with no issues, the pump and light work well.

It blows for a few seconds (that's the rattling noise) and then goes off. It pauses between the fan when it should be moving constantly and quiet. It's really annoying and not great for an office.
