Comes with cords to use as separate units or hooked together. I'm using them for the pothos growing behind my bed. They were smart enough to have a plastic surface for the adhesive mounts. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again.

Ppfd is recommended for flowering. It produces good light that helps them sprout and then build into nice strong plants. I also have zucchini that is full of blooms.
Others are on tripods and * attached to the plant stands. For the top of the cabinet, magnetic hooks work great, but for the lower shelf i used the wire /hook option it came with but had to cut part of it to rig it.
It has a dimmer switch on the cord. I like that it can be dimmed as i can dim it while the plants are young and then increase the light as they need it.
The light provides light and heat for my indoor pants. Not too much heat, perfect for 2x2 tent. Heat/warmth from the light is virtually no issue at all.
The bare aluminum back helpfully says do not touch when in operation. Put the unit down to inspect. There is perhaps a chance that i received a unit that was defective and shorting out.
