They are still quite bright (wishing they were dimmer), but still noticeably dimmer than the 40w. They are a nice brightness and a warmer temp (a little on the yellow side) which i find much less abrasive.

Bulbs were not made correctly and are of poor quality. Bulb falls off from the socket while they're * to the light receptacle.

I love my lightbulbs and they work well. No degradation in illumination. It is pretty blinding, but it's definitely what we need.

The advertisement says not dimmable. You have to unscrew them and put them into the included hook for them to turn on. Bulbs are in lamps but do not light up when power is off.
